single entry multiple carrier interface, or SEMCI, software from
Quantum Integrated Systems, Inc., of Carrollton.
Networked Insurance Agents, of Grass Valley, Calif., has licensed
Quantum’s QSEMCI™ product to offer near-instantaneous quotes from a
variety of carriers for business owners package, or BOP, workers
compensation and commercial auto insurance from a variety of
insurance carriers on its website under its brand NLink CL.

adding a new carrier to the system so our agents and affiliates can

QSEMCI is a web-based, risk-qualifying, template-underwriting and
real-time comparative quoting business application available by
license to managing general agents, general agents, brokers and
e-aggregators. Agents enter data one time, then receive multiple
commercial insurance quotes in minutes instead of days required for
non-automated systems.
The software uses screen scraping technology and can also be
integrated with any insurance carrier supporting Direct XML or IVANS
for any commercial line of business. QSEMCI can be used “out of the
box” in standard configurations that include features such as chat,
which enables user companies to communicate directly with field
agents in real time, or customized to suit special needs.
